Keep the school office updated with your latest address, email id and telephone numbers for the school to quickly reach you in case of any emergency
Unscheduled school holidays due to rain, strikes, or other factors will be updated on the school website, school Facebook page and through the PTEC group
Use your good judgement depending on your local situation (especially during rains) whether to send your child to school or not

Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
School gates close 5 minutes prior to the School start time. Late-comerswill be sent back
DO NOT threaten, beg, plead, or cry to allow your child in
Punctuality is an important trait in successful individuals. Help us inculcate this by accepting the penalty for being late
Adhere to the punctuality rule for all school orientation, information sessions. Gates will close 5 minutes after the scheduled time for all such parent meeting sessions
Parents who miss their given time-slot for Parent-Teacher meeting will not be entertained on that day
Parents and Students need to be courteous with everyone at all times, including peers, support staff, administrative staff members, teachers, drivers, conductors, and security guards.
NO items other than school books, stationery, tiffin boxes and such items as specifically required by the school/ teacher should be carried in the school bag. The school has the right to confiscate all other items without any further explanation.
Chewing gum, sipper bottles strictly not allowed
Bullying (verbal, physical, cyber), misbehaviour with school employees, theft, forgery, borrowing without permission of the owner, improper care of the property of others will lead to IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION at discretion of management from 1-30 days. Besides suspension, any further action deemed appropriate and required by school will be enforced. This includes but is not restricted to disqualification from assessments, sports teams , field trips, events & activities
Communication at all levels must be in English only. (except with the non-teaching staff and during the Language periods)
Obscene or abusive vulgar language will lead to strict disciplinary action
Maintain discipline and silence while moving in the corridors at any given point of time. Follow guidelines and walk to your left to allow for proper emergency procedures at all times
Copying/cheating during any FA/SA/Internal exam will mean IMMEDIATE disqualification from the exam, Any further action deemed appropriate and required by the school may also be enforced.
DO NOT fidget/tamper with any school property. Guilty student/s will be punished and charged for any repairs or replacements.
DO NOT handle school property like chalk, blackboard, duster, projector, marker, remote etc. unless asked to
Internet facility is for academic purposes only with prior permission. Accessing material not suitable for students is strictly prohibited.
Show courtesy and empathy towards peers especially towards-children with physical disabilities and younger children.
Be disciplined during gatherings such as prayer assembly, short break, lunch break, dispersal etc.
Elevator use will be permitted only if a medical certificate is submitted to the class teacher
The student may be sent home if found not adhering to timelines and/or loitering on the school premises at any point of time.
Misbehaviour/disrupting the classroom learning environment will lead to suspension
Sitting out in sports period due to medical reasons will require a note by the parent or doctor
NO sitting out or missing any period without explicit written permission of the class teacher or supervisor for any reason - including additional sports practice etc.

Make leave requests through this dairy
No half-days shall be granted
Leave of absence shall not ordinarily be granted on the first and last days of the term. Students absent on the first day of a new term are liable to be struck off the rolls
For leaves less than 3 days, fill the Leave record page in this diary
For leaves longer than 3 days, submit a leave note duly signed by the parent along with a medical certificate or other supporting documents as necessary
The school reserves its right to refuse permission for any trip that demands excessive leave or that occurs at inappropriate times of the school year
Be neatly dressed and in complete sports uniform including white socks, black sports shoes (regular, unbranded, no logos visible) at all times during regular school/extra-classes/open house days or any other activity. If required, plain black tights may be worn under the skirt. Students may wear floaters/sandals only on rainy days
Wear only plain navy blue cardigans
Plait long hair or tie a ponytail. Only black rubber bands and headbands allowed. NO Hair color/fancy hairstyles/henna/mehendi.
NO revealing attire allowed on special occasions, birthdays, celebration days. Dress appropriately at all times.
NO fancy jewellery, nail polish, artificial tattoos, mehendi/henna, kajal, lip gloss, wristbands, bangles and similar accessories.
NO ostentatious and expensive jewellery or expensive wrist watch or smart watches. NO mobiles, smart watches, fitbit, fitness trackers or other electronic gadgets, deodorants, fancy stationery, mobile phones, toys, i-pods, PSPs, CDs/ pen-drives allowed in school or on school field trips. Mobile phones will be immediately confiscated and will NOT be returned. The school will also confiscate expensive watches , inappropriate footwear, fancy non navy blue cardigans, jackets and any other material/ object/ wear that is not in adherence to the school uniform policy .
Random bag and locker searches will be carried out. The school will confiscate any of the above mentioned or undesirable materials/objects found in possession of the student
.The school will not be responsible for loss of any expensive material the student has brought to school
Only 3 reminders will be given for uniform. Post the third reminder, the child will be sent back home for any lapse in adhering to uniform policy.
Read, understand and follow the school rules at all times
Attend open house days, orientation sessions, parent workshops, school functions
Be courteous with teachers, staff members, including aunties, peons, drivers, security guards
Update school of any change in contact details/address. Inform the school in case of separation, or death in the family that would result in your child missing school
Let the teacher know in writing if the child is being picked up by a person not holding the escort card
Refrain from seeking private tuitions
Do not spread rumours or half-truth and discourage others doing so. Instead of ranting/raving on Whatsapp or other social media platforms, approach the school by writing an email or seek a personal appointment with the School Head/Supervisor to address your concern
Failure to read and understand these rules and regulations will not yield exemption from the same.

Q1 & Q2 fees to be paid in full to ensure student sits for SA1
Q3 &Q4 fees have to be paid to ensure student sits for SA2
Pay fees via the School portal only in a timely and regular manner
Print receipts directly from the Fee payment portal, 3 to 7 days after paying the fees. Updates may get delayed in the event of Bank/School holidays or technical glitches. The school office will not issue receipt
Irregular, untimely, and/or non-payment of school fees can lead to necessary actions as deemed fit including suspension from attending school and/or examination and/or withholding answer papers and/or report cards and/or issuing of school leaving certificate
A delay in payment beyond one quarter may lead to removal from the school rolls
No fee amount paid to the school will be refunded
In order to pay the fees online, please follow the steps listed on the Fee portal page of the school
No deduction in fees will be allowed for vacations and/or for any gaps
Kindly note that any form of recording on school premises and/or of school children and/or staff without permission is strictly prohibited
Students and/or parents/guardians are strictly prohibited to video record any event and/ or workshop and/or activity being conducted by the school in the school premises or elsewhere.
Achievements, photographs, audio/video recordings of students maybe shared in school publications, digital and print marketing materials and on social media
All such material becomes the property of the School
Parents who DO NOT wish the School to release such details of their child need to give it in writing to the school
Grade1 to Grade 9 will have 2 formative assessments, internals and 2 summative assessments every year
Grades 10 students write the IGCSE examination in March
IGCSE Examination fees payable to Cambridge (UK) are not included in the School Fees and will have to be borne and paid separately by the parent as per the norms laid down by CAIE
Cheating/copying in an examination/ test will result in no assessment of that particular paper. Students making changes in assessed answer sheets will face similar penalties
Students absent from an examination (FA/SA) for any reason whatsoever will not be re-examined
Principal’s decision will be final and binding on all issues regarding evaluation of answers, reassessment of marks, promotion, etc.
Representing school in sports/events will earn an FA/SA exemption if schedules clash. Pro-rata marks will be given and winning events will earn additional marks along with a special mention
Inculcate a good reading habit in your child
Books issued from the library, worksheet files and text books need to be maintained in good condition
Teach your child to handle library books responsibly
Torn books or scribbling in the books will not be accepted. Parents will be asked to reimburse the school for damaged library books
Ensure your child participates in all the events, activities and competitions held regularly in school
Keep Birthday celebrations in school simple. Don’t use these occasions to display wealth and affordability. Teach children to value love and friendships as opposed to loving material things. No cakes & pastries are allowed. You may choose to distribute biscuits, chocolates, pencils, erasers not exceeding a value of Rs 10/-
DO NOT send any take-home presents for students or teachers. The school reserves complete right to send back any such material/item sent for distribution if found contrary to our policy
DO NOT give money or gifts to the staff of the school. Unless the school employee is a family friend or a relative, do not invite school employees to your house or to restaurants. DO NOT make it awkward for the employees by offering gifts or inviting them for functions. The best gift you can give a teacher are gratitude, respect, and affection
Some employees’ services may be terminated due to inappropriate behavior. Socializing with such employees might put your child and your family at risk. It is advisable to refrain from any association with ex-employees.
The responsibility of your ward’s safety lies with the owners of the private vans/vehicles. The school authorities are in no way responsible for the same
Private Vans/Vehicles will not be allowed in the school premises for boarding and disembarking
NO vehicle will be allowed to park within 150m of the school gate
Please car-pool or use public transport on Open House Days to avoid traffic chaos outside the school
Send healthy and nutritious food in your child’s tiffin (NO junk food like biscuits and wafers). If all parents cooperate, then the students will not be tempted
Students will not be allowed to leave the school for lunch. Home tiffin may be delivered at the school gate 5 minutes before break
Please note that the health of your child is more important than any examination. Do not send an ill child to write the exams whether formative or summative assessments. Exams written by ill students will not be assessed
Keep the school informed of any communicable disease your child has to enable the school to take necessary precaution and alert other parents to watch for symptoms or alert authorities, if necessary. DO NOT send your child/children to school if they are ill or suffer from communicable diseases
A Medical clearance certificate after a communicable disease will be required to attend school. The School may choose to talk to the medical doctor to verify the authenticity of the medical certificate.
Students suffering from diseases like chicken pox, measles etc must observe the prescribed period of quarantine as follows
Chicken pox - after scabs fall off completely
Typhoid/cholera - as per medical certificate from doctor
Measles - a week after rash disappears
Mumps - after swelling subsides
Jaundice - as per medical certificate from family doctor
Conjunctivitis - eyes are bright and clear with no redness
Kindly fill up the medical history form and submit along with declaration form
If the child falls ill or is required to go home on medical grounds, the school will inform the parent. It is the duty of the parent to respond to calls from the school immediately and, also, pick up the child, after filling up the form in the office
Cooperate with the school security and DO NOT lose your cool with them. They are only doing their job to keep your child safe
It is the moral responsibility of parents to support the security team if they find some parent or adult obstructing the guards, and/or arguing with them when they are doing their duty
Carry your Escort card every time you visit school. Entry into school premises will be denied in the absence of this card
This card is valid for the period of two academic years only
This card authorises only the specified adult (as per photograph and details) to escort/collect the child
This card is not transferable to any other person
An Authority Letter (printed in this diary) is required to allow anyone else to pick your child
Report a lost escort card immediately to the School office. Pay Rs. 150/- to get a replacement escort card
Return old/expired escort cards to the school to avoid misuse by miscreants ensuring greater security of your child
Parents who need to drop items for their child should leave the same with the security staff only and not disrupt the class at any point of time. Any individual who disrupts the educational environment will be asked to leave
A parent who has an urgent situation should contact the school reception to receive appropriate direction
DO NOT park your vehicles within 150m of the school gates as it causes disruption, increases risk of accidents and poses security risk
Fill the application form on the school website, if you need a School Leaving Certificate
Submit it to the Class Teacher/Supervisor at the earliest
A quarter's notice is to be given prior to withdrawal of the pupil or fee for the following quarter will be charged
If the name of the pupil who has been absent, has through want of notice, been entered in the register for the following quarter, fees for that quarter are due even if the absence continues
Leaving Certificate will be issued only when all dues are cleared
If a student leaves school before the end of a quarter, fees will be payable for the full quarter
No fee amount paid to the school will be refunded
Those who leave in April must pay the fees for May
