Two A-level students, Anshul Fussey and Siddhant Mundra, walked into my office a couple of months ago with a proposal to conduct 3D printing workshop for their juniors and peers.
Their venture was to conduct 3D printing workshop for students at Grades 8 and 9 over 5 Sundays for only Rs. 2,000/-. Their program included training on TinkerCad and activities on design, creativity and problem solving, and finally design a take-away 3D printed logo/product.
They pitched their program to parents on school open house days and registered interest from 40 participants.
Their proposal included a complimentary 3D printer for the school, a training manual so the program could be continued in the future by school teachers, and a promise to assemble another 3 to 4 3D printers for the school post their March 2023 board exams.
They also volunteered to contributed 10% of their earning to an NGO founded by another Rustomjee alumnus, Sagun Bhatjiwalle’s Nature’s Ally Foundation, which works with strays.
And they made a 60% profit that they split between themselves, and also incentivised their friends, Neil Pereira and Veer Kabra, who supported them in running the program over 5 days.
These are the everyday stories at Rustomjee Cambridge that inspires me and my team of principals and teachers, and keeps us on our toes. Anshul and Siddhant lived up to the school motto, Dare to Dream…Dare to excel.
They have not only created memories for themselves, but their efforts will inspire other students to push the boundaries of innovation and enterprise, leaving an indelible mark on the Rustomjee Cambridge legacy.

Hello everyone,

Knockers - Breast Cancer awareness campaign
Our youth are the hope for our future. Our young students of Global Perspectives at grade 10- Sayuja Jejurkar and Dhan Shah worked together with Saisha Foundation to provide information and awareness on breast cancer to our teachers and aunties.
Saisha foundation is made up of members who are avid and experienced crocheters and knitters, who create handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomy.
The prosthesis are lovingly called "knockers". They also make beanies for children under 12 years of age who are undergoing chemothepary.
These knockers and beanies are provided for FREE to the beneficiaries.
For offering support to the foundation in any way , you can DM us.

RCD-The Design for Change 2018 story - Episode 1
Once upon a time , in the kingdom of Rustomjee, a magical event occurred that was unique in its own way.The kingdom of Rustomjee had different categories of citizens associated with it.
1. The students -Ranging from 6 to 18 years , they were further divided into classes and grades from 1 to 12.
2. The noblemen & women- These people worked with the students and were headed by a team of advisors and a chief.
3. The parents and grandparents - While these did not inhabit the city , they were closely linked and involved with the students and thus important stakeholders .
4. The last category were the people who supported the noblemen and women in the day to day functioning of the kingdom and included drivers , conductors, aunties, peons, office team and all the other people in and around the kingdom.
An interesting episode took place one day . The chief received a surprise video message from one of the students at Grade 2 - Vivaan Natekar.
When he saw the video, he was forced to call a council meeting with all his advisors . ......
And that is how our story begins.....
Watch the video message sent by Vivaan and watch this space for the next episode of our story

There's a bright star shining at Rustomjee Cambridge International School - Dahisar, and his name is Mithil! This energetic Grade 10 student isn't just excelling in his academics, he's defying expectations and igniting a love for languages in his peers.
Imagine mastering three levels (A1,A2,B1) of a whole new language – German, no less – in just one year, through self-study!
That's exactly what Mithil accomplished. His insatiable curiosity and love for languages propelled him to devour three levels of German in record time. His journey is a testament to the power of dedication and a passion for learning that goes above and beyond the classroom.
But Mithil's story doesn't end there. He's not content with just his own achievements. He wants to share his knowledge and empower others to embark on their own language adventures. With the support of the school, Mithil is gearing up to conduct mentoring sessions for students in Grades 9 to 12.
Imagine tapping into the mind of a language whiz and learning his best practices for conquering German! This isn't just a learning opportunity – it's an inspiration factory!
Mithil's story is a beacon for all students. It shows us that with hard work, a dash of courage, and a whole lot of passion, we can achieve incredible things. He's not afraid of challenges, he embraces them head-on, and in doing so, paves the way for his peers.
